WELCOME TO SIRLS!
Please join us this Saturday, July 29th, at 4:00PM to welcome new SIRLS students! This will follow the week-long IRLS504 (Foundations) course which ends that day.
WHO: All new students are strongly encouraged to attend! All SIRLS students, continuing and former, are also invited. Help us welcome the new students!
WHERE: Gentle Ben’s on University Blvd. (between Euclid and Park). A table will be reserved on the inside upper level.
WHAT: Welcome to SIRLS! Meet other students, talk about the classes, Tucson, and other issues. Eat some food, drink some drinks, and mingle with fellow library students.
WHEN: Begins at 4:00PM this Saturday, will last until ??

LSO Meeting & Area Studies Symposium
Please join us at our meeting tomorrow night, Friday, at 5:30PM. As usual, it will be held at the Udall Center (1st and Euclid).
Following, we will head over to the Marshall Building where the Area Studies Symposium begins with dinner at 6:30PM. The keynote address by Atifa Rawan begins at 7:30PM.
