Libraries of Northern Arizona
Greetings, if anyone is interest in seeing some pictures and learning a bit about some of the libraries in Northern Arizona, please feel free to click on my personal blog on the rightside blog list. I recently finished a winter vacation where I visited thirteen libraries in cities such as Jerome, Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff, Cottonwood, Williams, Mayer and also some specialized libraries including the Lowell Observatory, Cline at NAU, as well as two libraries at the Grand Canyon. It’s my personal blog so you might have to weed through some other details of my life, but you may find the library posts interesting. Just thought I’d share. – Jim Haske

LSO Meeting & Celebration for Grads!
Join us this Friday, 12/15/06, for a shortened LSO meeting followed by a dinner to celebrate our grads!
WHAT: LSO Meeting & Dinner/Happy Hour
WHEN: Friday, 12/15/06, 6:00-6:45 (meeting) and 7:00 (dinner)
WHERE: Since the library closes early due to commencement weekend, the meeting will be at Epic Cafe (http://www.epic-cafe.com/); dinner to follow at Caruso’s (http://www.carusositalian.com/) on 4th ave. We have a reservation for 7:00PM, so if you can’t make it to the meeting (there is a commencement ceremony that might interfere), feel free to meet us for dinner!
WHO: All SIRLS students and especially SIRLS grads and their families are welcome to come!!
Graduating LSO officers are: Shana Harrington (Social Coordinator), Marie Martin (Webmaster/Listserv Manager), Olivia Sparks (Distance Student Liaison), and Coni Weatherford (former Fundraiser). Congratulations to you and all our other SIRLS graduates!
Please contact our Social Coordinator, Shana, with questions about Friday. Also, if you haven’t RSVP’d to her for dinner, please do so that we can get a big enough table. Hope to see you all there!
And remember, the Graduation Celebration at SIRLS is this Saturday from 1:00-3:00PM in the SIRLS courtyard!
