NPR broadcast on social networking sites

Thought I’d share this interesting broadcast I found out about on the explosion of social and collaborative online tools such as MySpace, blogs, and wikis, and what they mean for the future. Pretty relevant for us budding librarians.

‘Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything’

Pima County Public Library on MySpace

Check out our library on MySpace. Create your own MySpace account and spread the word about our great services and programs by making Pima County Public Library your friend. This is also a great way to learn about how emerging technologies can enhance librarianship and your library school experience. I will be creating a SIRLS group and a SIRLS Alumni group soon for us all to network near and far.
